| Exciting
news on Valentine's Day! JanePorter.com has
been redesigned and is better than ever. Why redesign
now? Well, I am making a new leap with my writing. Yep, the Chick
Lit bug has hit me and my newest book, The
Frog Prince,
marks a big addition to my career. I say "addition",
not "switch",
so no worries, I am not giving up Harlequin, but this story was
in me and just had to be told. Today marks the first
day you can read an excerpt from
this book online, and I hope you do, because if the advance buzz
is any indication, this book will resonate with readers (which
thrills me!). It's about life, picking up the pieces and
moving on. It's about fairy tales, and what happens after "happily
ever after." Says Leena
Hyat, Senior Editor, The Best Reviews, "The
Frog Prince will
melt your heart... Gripping emotion, vivid descriptions
and a beautiful character who wraps herself around your heart from
the first page, The
Frog Prince is
a story that will stay with you for a long long time." And USA
Today bestselling author Susan Wiggs says The
Frog Prince is "A painfully
funny, utterly true story for every woman who has ever wondered
what happens after the fairy tale ends. I absolutely loved this
book!" In addition to my big Chick Lit debut,
I have two Harlequins coming out. The first, The
Secretary's Seduction,
is due out in a limited release in April. This book may be hard to
find (or maybe not, depending upon where you live), but I encourage
you to check out the excerpt,
because if you like heart-wrenching love stories, this is one for
you. The second book is brand new and
will be debuting in the United Kingdom in March for hardcover, May
for Paperback and then in North America in June. The Sheikh's Virgin is
a sequel to The
Sultan's Bought Bride, so if you are the kind of reader
who loves to revisit characters and settings, watch for this one.
We will be posting this excerpt within a month from today, so stay
tuned. In the meantime (and as always), my coming
soon page is a
great source to help keep all my books straight. (I refer to it
a lot myself!) So, please drop by my new, lovely
site and browse, read (so many excerpts!), enter my contest,
and check out my new feature: favorites.
I will pop back into your email a few times this spring (I promise
-- all quickie reminders -- nothing long to
clog your inbox) to remind you about my releases. Until then, happy reading, happy
browsing, and happy happy Valentine's Day... ~Jane To unsubscribe to Jane's Newsletter, click here. We will miss you! |
